In Japan, which is a constitutional democracy, the Constitution of Japan guarantees human rights that are not restricted even by a majority vote in the Diet, and ensures that individual human rights cannot be unfairly restricted by the authority of the time. Despite these ideals, however, individual freedom and rights are sometimes in danger of being violated. There are also conflicts of rights between individuals every day.
